The Thing From The Past is a solid mini point-and-click story.
A fun and short horror story with some crunchy PSX graphics. I love the unique attempt at point-and-click horror as it's not something super popular in the indie space nowadays. For the time spent, you get a promising little adventure complete with multiple endings, classic point-and-click stuff.
The story follows you, a doctor, as you're visited by a patient with a mystery illness that eventually turns him into a vampire. I think the story maybe could've been expanded on a little more, but I don't think that was the Punga's intention I think they just wanted to create something short to play through in your browser, and in that sense, they succeeded. You can make different choices about how to handle the new disease and those choices will influence which ending you receive, I got ending 2/2.
I really like the super low-res, heavily dithered textures and models as well, the green of the waiting room was my favorite.
