Forsaken is a short PSX-style horror indie-game by Niven Hedinger set on an somewhere island in the middle of the ocean. This game is a nice little free experience for spooky season that went harder than it even had to. It's ominous in the beginning and quickly becomes pretty disturbing by the end.
You begin following a trail of notes with vague and creepy messages and complete some tasks. Eventually, once you're done your tasks the prologue explains how you got here and the epilogue shows what happens after the events of what you played. I don't want to spoil the ending but it really brings everything together and is definitely the highlight of the experience.
